Valplast is a great, non-invasive alternative to a fixed unilateral appliance, that also serves well as a temporary post-implant placement. The bio-compatible nylon resin provides the perfect degree of flexibility and stability. The colour, shape, and design of Valplast partial dentures blend seamlessly with the natural appearance of the gingival tissues, making the prosthesis virtually invisible. The strong, durable plastic snaps securely into place around the existing natural dentition and gingiva.
The strength of the non-allergenic plastic eliminates the metallic taste and enables the partial to be fabricated thinly enough with non-metal clasps to avoid the bulky feeling often encountered with acrylic partials.
Our laboratory is a certified Valplast Lab, giving you piece of mind that all flexible partial dentures are manufactured with genuine Valplast material , and that we are qualified in the design and manufacturing process of Valplast.

Combining our technical expertise with our clinical understanding as Dental Prosthetists gives us a greater understanding when manufacturing dentures. There can sometimes be a gap between what the clinician foresees for the patients’ best outcome and what is produced in the laboratory. Having clinical knowledge gives us an appreciation of the many aspects involved in treating patients chairside for their edentulism with removable prosthodontics. We manufacture our denture bases using Vertex Acrylic, with Ivoclar teeth. This results in a high-quality cadmium-free denture base that offers great impact resistance; low water sorption; excellent aesthetics; and can be efficiently and seamlessly added to for repairs / relines in the future.
When it comes to giving your teeth the best protection from a sporting impact, no boil and bite or over the counter stock mouthguard can come close.
Come into the Dental Corner where one of our friendly and experienced Dental Prosthetists will take accurate recordings of your teeth and make a custom fitted laminated sports mouthguard that will give you piece of mind when you are on the mat, in the ring, or on the field.
When it comes to treating the semi-edentulous state, there are multiple options for which type of material to select for the major connector of the removable partial denture (RPD). Providing the remaining dentition is in good health, a removable chrome partial denture (RCPD) tends to be the preferred option for good reason. With a slimmer profile, less palatal/lingual coverage compared to other materials, greater strength, and a closer fit due to the clasps being an integral part of the framework – the result of a RCPD is quite aesthetically pleasing; biologically acceptable; offers maximal functionality; as well as providing flexibility for future tooth additions providing there is a sufficient amount of healthy dentition remaining.
As we get older our teeth tend to change colour, eventually yellowing of the teeth can be noticed.
Whilst daily brushing, flossing, and biannual visits to your dentist to get a scale and clean is important to the overall health of your teeth and should never be compromised, an occasional whitening treatment can help turn your teeth back to a whiter shade.
Teeth whitening, also sometimes referred to as bleaching can be an uncomfortable experience often resulting in severe sensitivity due to the high concentrations of bleach used on the teeth, this bleach can often find its way onto your gums resulting in further irritation of the soft tissues.

We offer a range of orthodontic appliances for your patients. These include removable passive and active appliances, as well as fixed passive retainers.
Our Removable Orthodontic Appliances are typically used during the course of limited tooth movement within the primary or mixed dentitions. They may be manufactured in accordance with standard components of the chosen appliance or have additional components added such as finger springs and screws.
Our range of appliances include but not limited to Hawley, Schwartz, Witzig Sagittal, and Twin Block Expansion Appliances; as well as Essix retainers.
Our fixed passive appliances include Direct Bonded Lingual Retainers. These are to the lingual aspect of the teeth and do not transmit any force to the tooth. Depending on case and preference we can provide a straight or zigzag option.
An essential protective piece for the active person, our sports mouthguards provide maximal protection of the teeth, lips and jaw from collisions. Each guard is laminated for added strength and has a reduced palatal aspect to provide comfort whilst breathing and speaking especially at elevated heart rates during sport.
We offer a variety of patterns and colours, and graphics, names, contact numbers can also be added to the mouthguard.
Occlusal splints reversibly alter the occlusion by reducing muscle activity and reducing parafunctional forces, thus aiding neuromuscular harmony within the masticatory system.
We understand that living with discomfort is a frustrating thing and can greatly impact the well-being of a persons’ life. We provide a range of Occlusal splints, including flat plane and Michigan splints in both hard acrylic and soft/hard materials as well as KeySplint CAD/CAM splints to assist you in providing the best solution for your patients.
